We traveled to Kent to race our friends for the Hart Perry Trophy(girls) and the Hart Perry and Bill Brown Trophy(boys). We say this is a race to check our relative speeds as we prepare to meet again at NEIRAs. Kent start a bit ahead of us. This was their third racing weekend. They were strong and they were rowing very well. This was their home water and the wind made the conditions a little difficult. Historically they are better than us at the begining of the season and we usually catch or surpass them by NEIRAs. Now we know how much effort will be necessary to make it into the medals at NEIRAs. This year there is no easy path.
